Week #21 ” Continuing Education”

Well…well…well. Have I ever been educated this week. And it has been a much needed education. So if I forget to say, “Thank you”, let me say it now…Thank you.

Miracle. That’s the word. Many of us have read about the miracles found in the Bible, those overwhelming miracles! Beautiful stories of events almost impossible to comprehend. So, I now look up the definition and read, ‘a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency’. The other definitions all include words like “welcomed”, “extraordinary”, “accomplishment”. Those are words with positive indications!

I never realized a miracle doesn’t have to be walking on water–how about walking on earth? That’s a miracle to behold. How about truly every day is a miracle? The rising sun? The moon coming out? The changes in seasons? Randdom acts of kindness? The miracles of friendship? The miracle of giving and receiving?

There are endless miracles that surround us everyday of our lives. With all of these miracles we should never ever have to say, “I’ll be happy when….” All we have to do is open our eyes and our minds and recognize these miracles and appreciate them. Hold them near to our hearts and cherish them. And then go out and create more miracles. After all, it only requires a thought.

Remember to give thanks for all the miracles in your life. I am closing now to give my thanks.
